University of Edinburgh — Trustpilot Volunteering Day
A guest lecture to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Edinburgh, as part of Trustpilot's volunteering day. It felt surreal — and very cool — to be on the other side of the lecture theatre this time, sharing lessons instead of taking quantum chemistry notes from the back row. I spoke to students about the reality of working in data and AI, and what it actually takes to make the leap from a degree into industry.
"Nobody hires you for what you know. They hire you for what you can do with it."

Trustpilot — Under-represented Genders in Tech Initiative
A panel discussion and networking evening, part of Trustpilot's Under-represented Genders in Tech initiative. I joined colleagues from Trustpilot on the panel to share real journeys into tech — the messy, non-linear, honest ones — and talk about what actually makes the difference when you're building a career in a field that wasn't always built for you.
"The skills you've built in previous roles — communication, problem solving, understanding people — don't disappear when you change careers. They become your edge."
